Data deletion request
You have the right to request deletion of your Scout account and the personal data associated with it. This page explains what gets deleted and how to make a request.
What we delete
- Your account profile (name, email address, profile picture)
- Your service listings and job requests
- Your bid history and match records
- Your ratings and reviews
- Your in-app messages
We may retain certain records for up to 30 days after your request while we process it, and longer where required by law (for example, to resolve an open dispute or prevent fraud).
How to request deletion
Send an email to the address below. To help us verify your identity and locate your account, please include:
- The email address linked to your Scout account
- Your Scout display name
- The subject line: "Account deletion request"

Processing time
We will process your request and confirm deletion within 30 days.
Signed in via Google or Facebook?
Deleting your Scout account does not delete your Google or Facebook account. To revoke Scout's access to your social account, visit your Google or Facebook security settings and remove Scout from connected apps.
